11 Jan 10 Dancing With The Stars – Love It!

Whatever this season is, I was tired of the dancing, judges, and contestants. The entire time Chloris Leachman was on, I refused to watch a second of it. But then along came Gilles Marini, Lil Kim, Ty Murray, Melissa Rycroft, The Woz, Julianne’s boyfriend, Chuck Wicks, Denise Richards, Shawn Johnson, and a few others that really didn’t interest me.

Who really did interest me? Gilles Marini was the one I couldn’t wait to see. Marini was on my radar after watching the Sex and the City movie where he played Dante. He did not disappoint in Dancing with the Stars! Most of his dances ramp up the heat in the ballroom. Carrie Ann Inaba even mentioned how lucky his wife was.

Just like her short lived show on E! Network, Denise Richards proved to be equally dull and talentless on Dancing with the Stars The Woz may be a computer genius and he definitely seemed like a great guy, but he just didn’t have the moves on the dance floor. Chuck Wicks gave it his all, and lasted longer than most. I didn’t really like Lil’ Kim until I saw her dance so amazingly well. Derek Huff did wonders with his choreography and inspiration. They obviously had real chemistry, and they demonstrated a high level of talent and skill as well. How stunning was it then that Lil’ Kim was voted off ahead of several less talented dance partners.

The final four, as I write, are Melissa and Tony, Ty and Chelsie, Gilles and Cheryl, Shawn and Mark. You may recall the song-smith Jewel was originally slated for this seasons cast of celebs. However, Jewel fractured bones in her legs just a couple of days before the premiere and Melissa had to fill in. She showed immediately that she had ballet training. Her performances have been close to perfection, earning her perfect scores in the last show. But perfect scores don’t always mean you won’t be voted off. Just like Sabrina Bryan. She received a perfect score in another season and was eliminated early. The celeb dancer who has shown real progress is World Champion rodeo cowboy Ty Murry. Having a rodeo star background gave him a wide, diverse fan base during voting, but did little in the way of preparing him for dancing. Just like in Beijing, Olympic Gold Medal winner Shawn Johnson has showed us some outstanding steps with the precision we would expect from the diminutive gymnast. And rounding this amazing cast of celebrities is Gilles Marini who didn’t make a move I didn’t absolutely love.

Just which couple has the chops and the votes to win the judge’s hearts? One dancing duo will be sent home this week. Who will it be? After that the three last dance teams have a final dance-off. I can’t wait until the final show airs! Luckily I have a DVR for a backup just in case something comes up.

Watching Dancing with the Stars is even better when you watch it on a high definition TV. After several friends kept harping on how much of a difference it made I finally gave in and purchased a hi-def television, and boy am I happy I did! Holy Cow! I never imagined how much clearer my picture would be with high definition. If you get an HD high definition TV you’ll need to contact your local cable provider to get the most out of it. I called Comcast Cable, my cable service supplier, and add HD channels to my already great channel lineup. And the HDTV picture form Comcast is amazing. While I was at it I added Comcast High Speed Internet and Comcast Digital Voice for a super low triple play bundle rate. My new broadband Internet service is lightning fast and has opened up a whole new world of multimedia that I didn’t know existed before Comcast High Speed Online. I can call all my friends and family nationwide without paying long distance charges with the amazing Digital Phone service. If Comcast is your local cable provider or you’re planning on moving to an area covered by Comcast, I definitely recommend calling them up and ordering their great services. I suggest using the web to find the best Comcast Cable promotions and savings out there. You really can save a bunch if you know where to find them. The Triple Play Bundle is the best way to go so make sure you consider it. All three digital services for a big discount from Comcast.

11 Jan 10 Dancing With The Stars Delivers The Best!

Whatever this season promised to bring, I had become tired of all of the dancing, drama, judges, and contestants. I refused to watch the whole time Chloris Leachman was on. Melissa Rycroft, The Woz, Julianne’s boyfriend, Chuck Wicks, Denise Richards, Shawn Johnson, and a few others came along too that really didn’t interest me either.

Who really did interest me? It was french actor Gilles Marini who pulled it all together for the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars  I really got interested in him after I saw the Sex and the City movie we he portrayed the character Dante. Proving he’s no one-act wonder, Gilles shows his other talents on Dancing with the Stars. Most of his dances ramp up the heat in the ballroom. Carrie Ann Inaba explained that Gilles wife is a very lucky girl to have a husband with such great moves.

Denise Richards was disappointing. She lacked talent and personality, two very important attributes for anyone appearing on the program. The Woz had the personality, but no talent. Chuck Wicks gave it his all, and lasted longer than most. I didn’t really like Lil’ Kim until I saw her dance so amazingly well. Stepping up with great technicality, Derek Huff won me with his brilliant choreography. They were a team that showed talent as well as chemistry. How stunning was it then that Lil’ Kim was voted off ahead of several less talented dance partners.

As it stands right now the last couples in competition are Melissa and Tony, Ty and Chelsie, Gilles and Cheryl, Shawn and Mark. You may recall the song-smith Jewel was originally slated for this seasons cast of celebs. However, Jewel fractured bones in her legs just a couple of days before the premiere and Melissa had to fill in. But it wasn’t a huge leap for her – Melissa has a background in ballet. Ballet really paid off for Melissa. Twice she scored thirty out of thirty from the three judges. But perfect scores don’t always mean you won’t be voted off. (Take a look at Sabrina Bryan, she was sent packing with her dancing partner Mark Ballas in the 5th season despite scoring the highest first week score and later getting the first 30 out of 30 score.) Ty Murry is the dancer who has so improved, and is also so love-able. His background as a rodeo star did little to prepare him, but more than likely gives him a wide and different fan base for voters. Shawn Johnson’s Olympic performance was so endearing, and her dancing is the same. And rounding this amazing cast of celebrities is Gilles Marini who didn’t make a move I didn’t absolutely love.

Who will bring home the trophy? Another couple goes home this week. And on the final episode the three remaining couples will compete in winner take all competition. I can’t wait until the final show airs! Luckily I have a DVR for a backup just in case something comes up.

Hopefully you can watch Dancing in HD like I can – it really does make a difference. I moved from a 27-inch TV to a 40-inch HDTV. Holy Cow! What a difference HD makes. Plus, Comcast Cable is outstanding! I just got HD cable for my new HDTV and the rate was very low for adding this new service. By taking advantage of a bundle special for my area I was able to add Comcast High Speed Internet and Comcast Digital Voice. Not only is my television picture and sound the clearest I’ve ever experienced, my download speeds are amazing with my new broadband Internet service. As a bonus, they offer digital phone service at flat rate pricing. The phone is very clear and I can call friends and family around the US and never have to pay long distance charges. If you are moving to an area that is covered by Comcast, or it is your local cable provider, I recommend calling them sooner rather than later to order their great services. I suggest using the web to find the best Comcast Cable promotions and savings out there. You really can save a bunch if you know where to find them. The Triple Play Bundle is the best way to go so make sure you consider it. All three digital services for a big discount from Comcast.

11 Jan 10 I Can’t Help But Love Dancing With The Stars!

Despite that dreadful lineup, there was an individual that did make it all worthwhile. It was french actor Gilles Marini who pulled it all together for the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars  After watching the Sex and the City movie, he really spiked my interest. Proving he’s no one-act wonder, Gilles shows his other talents on Dancing with the Stars. Gilles practically burned the finish off the the dance floor with his amazing moves. Carrie Ann Inaba explained that Gilles wife is a very lucky girl to have a husband with such great moves.

Denise Richards was a big disappointment, lacking talent as well as personality. The Woz may be a computer genius and he definitely seemed like a great guy, but he just didn’t have the moves on the dance floor. Chuck Wicks gave it his all, and lasted longer than most. I have to admit I never would have dreamed Lil’ Kim, who I knew very little about before the show, would turn out to be an incredible dancer and one of my favorite celebs. With his inspiration and choreography, Derek Huff brought Dancing with the Stars to a professional level little seen in past seasons. They proved to be a powerful duo when they showed that they had chemistry along with their talent. That’s why I was very surprised when Lil’ Kim was knocked out of competition with four other couples still alive.

Melissa didn’t struggle too much for someone with such little prep time – she has training in ballet. Her dancing has been almost flawless, earning her a set of perfect scores on the last show. Perfect scores do not protect you from being voted off, however. Just like Sabrina Bryan. She received a perfect score in another season and was eliminated early. Rodeo champion Ty Murry has worked on his dancing the most and it shows. He happens to be very adorable too. His background as a rodeo star did little to prepare him, but more than likely gives him a wide and different fan base for voters. Shawn Johnson, gold medal winning gymnast, showed us that she can perform on the hard dance floor just as well as she can on a soft mat. And rounding this amazing cast of celebrities is Gilles Marini who didn’t make a move I didn’t absolutely love.

So who will take home the winner’s 100k bonus? One dancing duo will be sent home this week. Who will it be? But afterwards, when only three celebrities and their partners are left, each dance team has a chance to prove to the judge’s they’re the ones who deserve to win. I can’t wait until the final show airs! Luckily I have a DVR for a backup just in case something comes up.

Watching Dancing with the Stars is even better when you watch it on a high definition TV. Recently my son convinced me to ditch my regular TV and make the jump to an HDTV. Holy Cow! You may be thinking what I used to think – how can it make that much of a difference in picture and sound quality? Well, I’m here to tell you it really does. Of course I also had to get HD cable service from my local cable provider, Comcast Cable, but the service is outstanding and the rates for adding high definition service are very low. I thought “what the heck?” and added the Comcast Digital Voice and High speed internet while I was at it since they could be added for such a low rate. 10 Jan 10 Dancing with the Stars – My Pleasure!

Whatever this season may bring, I was tired of the dancing, judges, and contestants. Chloris Leachman frustrated me to such a degree I even stopped watching. Nevertheless then along came Gilles Poet, Lil Kim, Ty Philologue, Melissa Rycroft, The Woz, Julianne’s sweetheart, Diet Wicks, Denise Richards, Shawn Johnson, and some others that certainly didn’t excite me.

But not all was lost – someone did hold my attention. I could not wait to watch Gilles Marini expertly dance during each episode. After watching the Sex and the City movie, he really spiked my interest. He did not disappoint in Dancing with the Stars! Most of his dances ramp up the heat in the ballroom. One of Dancing’s judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, let slip what a lot of us were thinking – Carole, Gilles Marini’s wife, one was lucky lady.

Just like her short lived show on E! Network, Denise Richards proved to be equally dull and talentless on Dancing with the Stars The Woz had the personality, but no talent. They were a team that showed talent as well as chemistry. That’s why I was very surprised when Lil’ Kim was knocked out of competition with four other couples still alive.

The final four, as I write, are Melissa and Tony, Ty and Chelsie, Gilles and Cheryl, Shawn and Mark. When Jewel fractured the tibia in both her legs five days before the season premiere, that is when Melissa stepped up and took her place. You could tell right off the bat that she has been trained in ballet dancing so it wasn’t too hard for her to get up to speed quickly. Her dancing has been almost flawless, earning her a set of perfect scores on the last show. But perfect scores don’t always mean you won’t be voted off. Just like Sabrina Bryan. She received a perfect score in another season and was eliminated early. Ty Murry is the dancer who has so improved, and is also so love-able. And rounding this amazing cast of celebrities is Gilles Marini who didn’t make a move I didn’t absolutely love.

Who will bring home the trophy? Another celebrity contestant and their partner gets sent off on the next show. Then the final three will have a showdown the next. You can guarantee where I’ll be that night!

On a side note, one of the best ways to watch Dancing with the Stars is in high definition. Recently my son convinced me to ditch my regular TV and make the jump to an HDTV. You do not have to think twice before order Comcast’s great package deals. Saving money while enjoying the best cable tv, broadband internet, and digital phone service can offer is a no-brainer. And if you search on the web you can probably some sites that offer the latest Comcast Cable promotions and savings. Consider Comcast’s bundle called Triple Play. 10 Jan 10 Dancing With The Stars Delivers The Best Reality Television To Date!

Whatever this season may bring, I was tired of the dancing, judges, and contestants. Chloris Leachman frustrated me to such a degree I even stopped watching. I didn’t really like Lil’ Kim until I saw her dance so amazingly well. Derek Huff showed what expert choreography and showmanship can bring to the dance floor with his amazing routines. They proved to be a powerful duo when they showed that they had chemistry along with their talent. It was a shock that she was eliminated with four others remaining.

The final four, as I write, are Melissa and Tony, Ty and Chelsie, Gilles and Cheryl, Shawn and Mark. Who will win? Another couple goes home this week. After that the three last dance teams have a final dance-off. I can’t wait until the final show airs! Luckily I have a DVR for a backup just in case something comes up.

On a side note, one of the best ways to watch Dancing with the Stars is in high definition. After fifteen years with my regular 32-inch screen I decided to take the leap and make the HDTV upgrade with a new widescreen TV. Holy Cow! I never imagined how much clearer my picture would be with high definition. All I had to do once I got my new HD TV was contact Comcast Cable, my local provider, and add HD channels to my already low priced service. While I was at it I added Comcast High Speed Internet and Comcast Digital Voice for a super low triple play bundle rate. 10 Jan 10 Dancing With The Stars – So Much Fun!

Before the start of this seasons Dancing with the Stars I have to admit I had grown weary of the b-list celebs and over-the-top judges. Chloris Leachman frustrated me to such a degree I even stopped watching. Melissa Rycroft, The Woz, Julianne’s boyfriend, Chuck Wicks, Denise Richards, Shawn Johnson, and a few others came along too that really didn’t interest me either.

But not all was lost – someone did hold my attention. I couldn’t wait to see the outstanding dancing of Frenchman Gilles Marini. I really got interested in him after I saw the Sex and the City movie we he portrayed the character Dante. And as a celebrity dancer on Dancing with the Stars Gilles does not let fans of his screen work down. He turns the heat up in the ballroom when he dances. Carrie Ann Inaba even mentioned how lucky his wife was.

Denise Richards was disa
ppointing. She lacked talent and personality, two very important attributes for anyone appearing on the program. The Woz had the personality, but no talent. While Chuck Wicks put in 110% and stayed on the show week after week. Lil’ Kim is someone I never imagined liking – but what a dancer! Derek Huff showed what expert choreography and showmanship can bring to the dance floor with his amazing routines. They were a team that showed talent as well as chemistry. It was a shock that she was eliminated with four others remaining.

So who did make it to the last couple of shows? It looks like it’s going to be Ty and Chelsie, Gilles and Cheryl, Melissa and Tony, and Shawn and Mark. When Jewel fractured the tibia in both her legs five days before the season premiere, that is when Melissa stepped up and took her place. But it wasn’t a huge leap for her – Melissa has a background in ballet. Ballet really paid off for Melissa. Twice she scored thirty out of thirty from the three judges. But getting thirty out of thirty from the judges isn’t a guarantee that you’ll be around on the next show. (Just ask Sabrina Bryan, who was eliminated early in another season after receiving a perfect score.) Rodeo champion Ty Murry has worked on his dancing the most and it shows. He happens to be very adorable too. Ty’s experience riding bulls and guiding horses doesn’t translate directly to the dance floor and provided a big cache of voting fans who normally wouldn’t watch Dancing with the Stars. Just like in Beijing, Olympic Gold Medal winner Shawn Johnson has showed us some outstanding steps with the precision we would expect from the diminutive gymnast. Finally, Gilles Marini simply couldn’t do a routine that didn’t blow me away. He is definitely my favorite.

Who will bring home the trophy? An additional couple returns home this week. Then the final three will have a showdown the next. You can guarantee where I’ll be that night!

Hopefully you can watch Dancing in HD like I can – it really does make a difference. Recently my son convinced me to ditch my regular TV and make the jump to an HDTV. Talk about night and day! HD really gives you that ‘you’re really there’ feeling. I had no idea how good it was. Plus, Comcast Cable is outstanding! I just got HD cable for my new HDTV and the rate was very low for adding this new service. For a really low price I took advantage of the triple play bundle offered by Comcast and added High Speed Internet and Voice to my HDTV cable order. My download speeds and television picture are by far the fastest and clearest I have ever experienced with my new broadband service and HD Comcast Cable. For additional savings, Search the web, and you will find plenty of Comcast Cable’s latest promotions. The Triple Play Bundle is the best way to go so make sure you consider it. All three digital services for a big discount from Comcast.

10 Jan 10 Dancing With The Stars – Dancing Every Night!

Whatever this season is, I was tired of the dancing, judges, and contestants. I refused to watch the whole time Chloris Leachman was on. Melissa Rycroft, The Woz, Julianne’s boyfriend, Chuck Wicks, Denise Richards, Shawn Johnson, and a few others came along too that really didn’t interest me either.

Despite that dreadful lineup, there was an individual that did make it all worthwhile. I couldn’t wait to see the outstanding dancing of Frenchman Gilles Marini. I discovered Gilles when I saw Sex and the City where he stood out among a cast of talented actors and actresses. And as a celebrity dancer on Dancing with the Stars Gilles does not let fans of his screen work down. Gilles practically burned the finish off the the dance floor with his amazing moves. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba said what a lot of female views were thinking – Gilles wife Carole is very lucky.

The big disappointment on the show was Denise Richards – she showed an almost total lack of both talent and personality. The Woz had the personality, but no talent. Chuck Wicks gave it his all, and lasted longer than most. I was not interested in watching Lil’ Kim, until I saw what an amazing dancer she turned out to be. Derek Huff did wonders with his choreography and inspiration. They obviously had real chemistry, and they demonstrated a high level of talent and skill as well. That’s why I was very surprised when Lil’ Kim was knocked out of competition with four other couples still alive.

She showed immediately that she had ballet training. Her performances have been close to perfection, earning her perfect scores in the last show. Perfect scores do not protect you from being voted off, however. In the fifth season of Dancing with the Stars, Sabrina Bryan was voted off the show after being the first person, with her dancing partner, to achieve a perfect score from the judges. Ty Murry is the dancer who has so improved, and is also so love-able. Having a rodeo star background gave him a wide, diverse fan base during voting, but did little in the way of preparing him for dancing. Shawn Johnson, gold medal winning gymnast, showed us that she can perform on the hard dance floor just as well as she can on a soft mat. Finally, Gilles Marini simply couldn’t do a routine that didn’t blow me away. He is definitely my favorite.

Just which couple has the chops and the votes to win the judge’s hearts? Another celebrity contestant and their partner gets sent off on the next show. Then the final three will have a showdown the next. I will certainly be watching.

Hopefully you can watch Dancing in HD like I can – it really does make a difference. I moved from a 27-inch TV to a 40-inch HDTV. Wow! HD really gives you that ‘you’re really there’ feeling. I had no idea how good it was. Plus, Comcast Cable is outstanding! I just got HD cable for my new HDTV and the rate was very low for adding this new service. I thought “what the heck?” and added the Comcast Digital Voice and High speed internet while I was at it since they could be added for such a low rate. Not only is my television picture and sound the clearest I’ve ever experienced, my download speeds are amazing with my new broadband Internet service. I can call all my friends and family nationwide without paying long distance charges with the amazing Digital Phone service. If Comcast is your local cable provider or you’re planning on moving to an area covered by Comcast, I definitely recommend calling them up and ordering their great services. For additional savings, Search the web, and you will find plenty of Comcast Cable’s latest promotions. Make sure you take a look at their Triple Play bundle that lets you get all three services for one incredibly low price.
